Billy’s back again with another Kings of Hobby update! As I’m finishing up my list for BCB, I wanted to do two things: 1. Give myself an easy March so that I’m not stressing out about finishing for the tournament and 2. Have a whole month to spend on a monster. With that in mind, I pledged to complete my Archfiend of the Abyss.
…and boy did I! This model was a ton of fun to paint. It’s the Mierce Miniatures Euryalia, Queen of Ker-Ys in case you wanted to find one. Tons of great detail. I really like all the chains that contrast the smooth skin nicely.
Due to some slight breakage, I ended up converting a new whip for her out of some copper wire.
There’s not much else to say about it, so here she is in all her glory.

Goal
My goal for April is to finish a troop of gargoyles and Ba’su’su the Vile. The gargoyles are the standard Mantic ones, but I have an…interesting model for Ba’su’su. I’m hoping to have the gargoyles flying among ruined cathedral bits, so it should be a blast.
