Brotherhood of Blood: Week 4

Hello Everyone, week 4 has come and gone! While I managed to dutifully work on the Brotherhood of Blood I have noticed some side hobby project popping into my mind, never a good sign this early in a project.

One key factor in me losing some focus is I finished the two audiobooks I was listening to (Cold Days and Winter’s Heart) which has left my entertainment sitting in a bit of an odd place. I am hoping that once I really get into the next book I am listening to, “Legend” by Marie Lu, that it will pull my focus back into place.

I saw Marie Lu speak at a professional event, and it got me intrigued to try her book series. The book itself is short compared to what I have been listening to (only 7 hours), so I plan to listen to the final Dresden files book I have left after that.

Not 100% what this about, I think it is Dystopian YA Fiction

I am also going to try to take some measures to refocus my hobby reading to Vampire related materials, I have been distracted by Lord of the Rings Miniatures, 40k, and all sorts of stuff, so time to dive into some good ole Undead themed writing.

I plan to dive into the End Times Nagash Book. While I know this was a polarizing book it has some of the best Undead focused artwork and moments in miniature focused background history.

Right, so onto my progress, well I didn’t get the unit finished like I had hoped; however, I did complete at addition 3 miniatures to the unit, and it is really coming together nicely.

My goal for this week is the complete the unit. There are 5 models remaining, 3 of which are the “command” and so will get a little bit extra attention, particularly the banner, however, I did get some progress on them last week, so I don’t think this is too tall a order.

Wish me luck!
