Kings of War 3rd Edition: It’s Finally Here!

After months, and months of hinted rumors, tantalizing teasers, and anxious waiting, Kings of War 3rd edition is finally here! With the drop of the new edition comes so many things beyond just a new rulebook (though that does look glorious).

New world map

Pretty 😀

A new starter set

And of course the endless internet arguments; as we nerds, debate whether something has been buffed or nerfed, whether an army is now garbage or the new hotness, and as always the intricacies of what constitutes a complete unit.

Dash28 has a slew of plans to cover 3rd Edition including faction analysis, rules discussions, hobby posts, and we may even dare to wade into the dumpster fire that is the MMC/PMC “discussion”. Keep an eye out on our tag “Kings of War 3rd Edition” found here, which will compile all our 3rd edition content in one easy to find place.

As 3rd edition rules trickle thru various channels to arrive at their buyers, we at Dash28, much like the rest of the gaming population, wait anxiously for our own copies. Some of us are lucky enough to already have our books; and have already begun writing. Others, like myself, return home everyday excited only to find nothing, and thus quietly resign ourselves to another day of waiting.

Here is to hoping we all receive our books soon! Until that time, and after, hopefully Dash28 can help fill some of that void.
